Version of a Wonderland

This is my Alice in Wonderland assignment for Term 2 in Art! We had to do Textiles! Sooo I chose to do a poster, on canvas material with the theme of Alice in Wonderland, my style! The 6 characters, Alice, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and the tea cups were screen printed on (meaning I had to draw them, trace them onto paper, stencilise them (hope that's a word xD), cutting them onto paper to print) and then screen printed them onto the canvas. Oh! And the title too! The little insects, and all the other bits were soed on, I used mixed medias for that part. The flowers were a killer to soe, I had to do a kabundle of them and they're just on by a thread XD; egads! Oh and I had painted parts ofcourse, that was the other method I used, mainly the reds and the tea cups...erm tea/blood. I can't wait to take this home and hang it on my wall. XD One of the teachers who saw it was all, "...that doesn't really look like a Wonderland." and I just replied, "It's my wonderland. ;_;"
